Somewhere in the middle of last year, we introduced you to some of our fleet executives, the Unsung Heroes of Zoomcar. Continuing this saga, we are glad to present to you our next champ, Mr. Arvind R., Team Lead of our Anepalya site in Bangalore.
Arvind joined the Zoomcar family in August 2014 after a friend’s suggestion and has grown to the position of a Team Lead with his hard work. It’s been over a year now, and Arvind loves working here. “I get to help others create new memories every day”, he says when asked about his customer interaction. Arvind ensures to interact with every customer so that they are given the proper guidance while picking up or returning a car.
In a candid chat with Arvind, we found out that he is a footballer and has been part of the U16 and U19 football teams for Karnataka. With the flexible and convenient timings from Zoomcar, Arvind still finds time to practice his skills. He believes that this kind of flexibility encourages the executives to have a good work-life balance.
When asked about his most memorable experience with the company so far, Arvind mentioned how he finally got an opportunity to travel to other cities. He thoroughly enjoyed the long drive which would not have been possible had he been elsewhere. He also mentioned that after joining Zoomcar, his personal life had changed for the better. Arvind got married two months after joining here and with the insurance cover from the company, he was able to afford the best in class medical care for the delivery of his first child.
