Getting Started

To start earning as a Host, all you need is a car less than 8 years old, in good condition, and meeting basic safety standards. Simply download the Zoomcar Host app, add your car details, and set your availability. You can even list multiple cars and manage them all from one place.

How Hosting Works

Once you have completed the onboarding by submitting the required details:

• Share your car on Zoomcar by selecting the duration and location (these details are collected during the onboarding steps as well)
• Zoomcar automatically assigns bookings to your vehicle.
  
• You’ll receive notifications via app, WhatsApp, email, and SMS whenever a booking is made.
  
• You’ll get full details of the guest and trip, and there’s no need to manually accept bookings.
  
• You can pause your listing anytime, but note: you can’t pause or delete a listing if a booking is scheduled within the next 24 hours.
• You can also control the kind of bookings you receive by selecting the maximum and minimum booking duration, minimum time between two bookings, disabling night booking if needed.
• You can also control your pricing once you serve your first booking on the platform with 5-star rating

Earnings & Payouts

Zoomcar shares 60% of the booking revenue with Hosts. Payments are credited directly to your bank account within 24 hours after each booking is completed. Any refunds or adjustments are processed in the weekly Tuesday payout.

How to Increase Earnings

Your earnings depend on:

• Car model (newer cars and SUVs earn more)
• Listing location (some areas have higher demand than others)
  
• Your rating (maintain a 4.7+ rating to attract more bookings)
  
• Enabling Doorstep Delivery
  
• Keeping your car available during high-demand days
  

On average, Hosts can earn between ₹20,000 to ₹60,000 per car/month, with top performers earning even more — especially in metro cities.
