Bababudangiri Shrine: This is one of the only shrines in the world revered by both Hindus and Muslims alike. Named after the saint Baba Budan for bringing the coffee plant to India, today it is visited by people from all over the world. However, due to the fact that both Muslims and Hindus worship it, in recent years it has been somewhat of a controversial shrine.
Caves: Bababudangiri is also widely known for its series of three caves. Many believe that these caves have been blessed by the three Siddhas, and are a frequent pilgrimage site for Hindus. Regardless of your religion, these caves are must see for their spectacular natural beauty.
Trekking: If trekking is what you crave, Bababudangiri has plenty to offer. You can check out the Mullayanagiri (the highest mountain range in Karnataka) or the Dattagiri as well.
