Bisle is a small forest town located in the South-Western
Ghats and is a part of the Bisle Forest Reserve. Connected to several other
forest and nature reserves, this is a great outstation destination from
Bangalore if trekking and greenery is what you desire. This reserve is
completely undisturbed from human activity, and is an amazing way to view
untouched nature at its finest.
Rent a car from Zoom and arrive at Bisle with ease! The best way to get there is via the Bangalore-Mangalore Highway. Continue along this road until you reach SH7/SH8. From there continue along this road until you reach your destination. The entire trip is just over 250KM and should take just over 4 hours, but if you get lost our GPS can guide you the entire way! Get there faster than with a bus or train and stop at your own convenience.

Here are some things to do while exploring Bisle:
Bisle Betta: From here one can see five different mountain ranges from three different districts: Kumara Parvatha, Puspha Giri, Dodda Betta, and Patta Betta, and Enni Kallu. At this viewpoint there is a scenic view of the valley, with the Giri River dividing the viewpoint and mountain ranges. This site is so beautiful and attracts so many tourists that the forest department built a place here to sit and enjoy the view.
Bisle Forest Reserve: Visit the forest reserve for a beautiful and relaxing day of exploring untouched land. If you are with your family or significant other this is an amazing place for a picnic. If you happen to also be a nature photographer this is one of the best places to visit in all of India! Be on the lookout for leopards, Gaurs, and Giant Squirrels!
