Marina Beach:

Basilica of the National Shrine of St. Thomas:
located on Santhome High Road, this church is one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of Chennai. Famous for its Shrine of St. Thomas, there are only two other churches in the world built over the tomb of an Apostle of Jesus Christ. Visiting this amazing church while you are in Chennai is a must!

Arinjar Anna Zoological Park:
Open from 9am-6pm except for on Tuesdays, this park is located on the outskirts of Chennai. This Zoo actually holds the title of the “First Zoo in India”, and is one of the biggest in Southeast Asia. There are over 170 different species of Mammals, birds, and reptiles in this park. Lion safari vehicles, elephant rides, battery operated vehicles are all available as well!
