Jog Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in all of India
and attracts visitors from all over the world. Standing at a massive 900 feet
high the River Sharavathi falls with wondrous momentum into 4 distinct
cascades. The first cascade, known as “Raja” or King, is the tallest of the
cascades and has the most force. The second cascade, Rani or Queen, is elegant
and falls with grace from roughly 100 feet below. These cascades are then
joined by “Rocket” and “Roarer” that both fall with fantastic force. If you are

Thyvare Koppa Lion and Tiger reserve: This reserve is home to tigers, lions and deers, and is located about 12 km from Shimoga on the way to Jog Falls
