Keladi is a small temple town in Sagar Taluk, Karnataka,
most famous for its Rameshwara Temple. Built
in traditional Hoysala-Dravida style , this historical monument is a
representation of the Keladi Nayaka period and the history that went along with
it. If planning a road-trip, it’s best to combine this temple with the nearby
Ikkeri, making it a true temple-run. Both temples are from the same time
period, providing a much clearer picture of both the history and architectural
design of the era.
