Chennai Express
The locations of the Shahrukh & Deepika starrer movie took us through splendid landscapes to be in awe of, amidst the chaotic twists and turns of the movie. The beautiful aerial view of many places that are portrayed to be Tamil Nadu but are actually not. They are shot all over parts of South Western India.
Surely, you remember the gorgeous waterfall, when Deepika’s father is introduced; this is actually Dudhsagar Falls in Goa.
And the gorgeous backdrops of the hills in many parts of the movie is actually shot in Munnar, Kerala. The song ‘Kashmir main, tu Kanyakumari’ was also shot in and around Munnar!
And who can forget the trip the duo makes to Rameshwaram. Just seeing these blue waters will make you want to drive there right now!

The tinsel town and entertainment capital of the country, and home of Bollywood. Many film-makers have taken their movies to the streets and outskirts of this lively city. Many movies have been shot here like Munna Bhai MBBS, Dhoom 2, A Wednesday and many more.

Bollywood has been enthralled with the brilliant roads, monuments, markets and many locations this historical city has to offer. From Rang De Basanti to 2 States (which was also extensively shot in Chennai as well), Kajol & Aamir starrer Fanaa to Ranbir Kapoor’s Rockstar, many Bollywood flicks were shot in the capital city of Delhi.

Bustling Bangalore

Remember Coolie? This was shot in Bangalore too. In fact, Amitabh Bachchan got severely injured during the making of the movie, and was hospitalized in a Bangalore hospital as well .
“Ab Tera Kya Hoga Kaliya?” Yes, the famous dialogue from the greatest Bollywood film Sholay was shot in Ramanagaram, which is a 2 hour drive from Bangalore.
