Unsung Heroes Part 2

Today we would like to take some of the new-found sunshine here in Bangalore and shine it on a few of the Zoom Team members. Every time you rent a car and self drive with Zoom, these are the people who help make the process easier. They take your calls, book your reservations, help you when you get into trouble, and most importantly they keep you smiling. Without these people, Zoom wouldn’t be able to keep the self-drive revolution alive. We are truly grateful to have them with us, and appreciate all of their hard work!

Without further ado I present to you the “Unsung Heroes” of Zoom, Part 2.

First up we have Jeevan in the fleet! A Lover of reading, Jeevan constantly has a newspaper or book in his hand when he isn’t working hard managing on-the-ground operations at the Kormangala vehicle site. He was born in Coorg, attended SGCPU College, and graduated from Bangalore University. Prior to working with Zoom, he worked at the Taj Vivanta Hotel. Jeevan was interested in joining Zoom because of the opportunities for career growth and said “Zoom has given us a great opportunity”. I’m very happy to hear that this is how he feels, and I’m excited to see how Jeevan’s hunger for success manifests itself in the future!

Next up we have Mabiya in the office!

Mabiya is a movie enthusiast without peer. Whether it’s action, comedy, drama, or romance, give Mabiya a bag of popcorn and a movie screen and she’s one happy camper. She was born and raised in Bangalore and attended Mariam Nilaya High School and Hasnath Women’s College. She also completed her University education at Bangalore University. Prior to working with Zoom, she worked for Cenveo Publishing Services. When asked why she was interested in working with Zoom she replied, “I LOVE CARS!!” Luckily for Mabiya, I think she found the perfect job J.

Then we have the athletic Mani in the office! A self proclaimed all rounder, he was the captain of his high school cricket team, and won both the inaugural and final trophies! He was also the captain of his college team and was the runner up in the inter-college tournament. He was born in Tamil Nandu, and has been raised in Bangalore for the last 25 years. He also completed his schooling at RBANMS College in Bangalore. Prior to working with Zoom, he worked at IMRB International as a team leader for 5 yrs. Mani was inspired to work at Zoom because it was something exciting that he’s never seen before in Bangalore, and remarked “I’m enjoying my work with Zoom, I learn new things every day and it’s a great platform for growth!”
